Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and Packrat Labs ("Packrat", "we") for the use of packrat.sh and the Packrat service. By making an account or sending data, you agree to them. If you use Packrat for a company, you agree for that company.

Your account
You are responsible for what is done with your account and your keys. Keep API keys secret, revoke a key you think has leaked, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account.
Your data
What your apps send to Packrat is yours. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service to you: to keep it, build tables from it, answer your queries, and run Packrat's agent on the apps you turn it on for. We claim no other right to it.
You are responsible for what you send. Do not send data you have no right to send, and keep secrets and sensitive personal data out of your telemetry where you can.

Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law with the service, or send data that breaks someone else's rights;
- try to reach another customer's data, or probe the service outside a good-faith security report;
- send traffic meant to overload the service or to get around its limits;
- resell the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend an account that does any of these, and we will tell you why.
AI output
Packrat uses AI models to read your telemetry and report on it. Their output can be wrong or incomplete. Treat a report as a lead to verify, not as a fact, and check a change before you act on it.
Availability
We work to keep Packrat running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Packrat is not a system of record: keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Packrat is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the larger of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Packrat at any time, and delete your organization and its data. We can end or suspend an account that breaks these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we give at least 30 days' notice so that you can take your data out.
Changes
When these terms change in a way that matters, we change the date above and tell account holders by email before the change takes effect. Using Packrat after that means you accept the new terms.
